I create illustrations that are intuitive, topical and serve as a visual prompt to the story, whilst being mindful of the brand structure which is unique for each journalistic institution. 

 

For me, journalism is more important now than ever, because current events shape not only the business and financial sector but also arts and entertainment. For me, it is always the editorial that is the star, what I create are visual metaphors that are a synopsis of the content. I read every story, every word and then proceed to illustrate.
